A Journey Into Estate Planning: The Introduction

May 19, 2017
Estate Planning.  I’ve talked before about the importance of hiring an attorney to advise and draft your plan.  But what documents go into an estate plan?  Over the next several weeks we will be going on a journey to learn about the documents that are in many estate plans.

Power of Attorney

Health Care Directive

Will

Trusts

Transfer on Death Deed

The list above is not exhaustive by any means.  This is a list that will help many individuals and families but not all.  The more complex the estate (people AND property involved), the more complex the estate plan.  The documents that work best for you and your circumstances can only be determined after speaking to and meeting with an attorney.  I offer this blog series simply to help educate and offer information, but in no way does this constitute legal advice for any individual or family.

Join me as we take this journey into greater understanding!
